Alternatively, you can also come to pick up the car from our Dubai showroom.

Yes, you can absolutely extend your rental period! If you wish to do so, you must inform us 24 hours prior to the scheduled return time. Extensions are always subject to the current availability of the vehicle. Payment for the extension has to be made in advance, otherwise the extension will not be valid. Please note, extensions will be charged according to the normal seasonal daily price.

All rental periods are calculated on a 24-hour basis. For example, a one-day rental starting at 10 am must be returned by 10 am the following day. Any delay, even by one hour (e.g., if the car is returned at 11 am the following day), will result in an extra day being charged.

If the customer returns the car before the end of the agreed rental period, no refunds will apply for the remaining duration.

Our standard rental agreements include a daily mileage limit, which is typically 250 kilometers per day. This limit is cumulative for longer rentals (e.g., 750 km for a 3-day rental). Any kilometers driven over this agreed-upon limit will incur an additional charge per kilometer. We will clearly communicate the specific mileage limit and any potential excess charges at the time of booking, allowing you to plan your journey effectively and without surprises.

The driver must return the car in the same condition he/she received it. If the car is returned dirty or has any food leftovers or stains, this will result in a charge. A fee of AED 500 will be charged if the car is returned with a very dirty interior (e.g., trash on the ground, food leftovers, etc.).

If the customer returns the car with a scratch/s, a minimum charge of AED 500 applies for every scratch.

Smoking in our vehicles is strictly prohibited as it damages our vehicles and is a safety hazard while driving. Smoking in our vehicles may result in a charge of up to AED 1000.

Off-roading, rallying, racing, or ‘drifting’ in our vehicles is strictly prohibited. Going to deserts and tracks is not allowed. Rum Car Rental will charge AED 50,000 in case the customer violates this, in addition to the total cost of repairing any mechanical failures and damages that might be caused.

Customers are not allowed to drive over 140 Km/h. If the driver exceeds this speed limit: on the 2nd attempt, a charge of AED 2000 will be applied. On the 3rd attempt, we will shut down the car, and the remaining rental period will not be refunded.

Sticking any marketing materials on the cars, like stickers or wrapping paper, is not allowed. Rum Car Rental will charge the customer AED 50,000 in case of violation and will terminate the contract with the customer.

All cars are delivered full of fuel. When returning the car, the fuel level must match the level it was received. Otherwise, a fine of AED 300 will be applied.

In the unfortunate event of an accident, your safety is paramount. First, ensure everyone's safety. Then, do not move the vehicle unless absolutely necessary for safety. Immediately contact the Dubai Police (999) to report the accident and obtain a police report – this is crucial for insurance claims in Dubai. After contacting the police, please inform Rum Car Rental's 24/7 support team immediately. We will guide you through the next steps and provide any necessary assistance.

If the customer is at fault in a car crash, he/she will also pay an amount of AED a certain amount of the value of the car repairs at the agency workshop, that is, in addition to the daily rental charges for the number of the days which the vehicle will stay in repair. Please confirm the exact AED amount for at-fault repairs.
